You can capture Safari Pokemon by going to the Safari zone and then heading to Cinnabar Island, swim up the half coast and half land and you will be attacked by Safari Pokemon. This works with the last grass you have been in, most commonly used for the Safari zone.
You can fight MissingNo by swimming up the half coast and half land area of Cinnabar Island. You will eventually be attacked by him.
Note: Capturing MissingNo will definitely mess your Pokemon Hall of Fame section of any PC and has a slight chance of deleting your save.
There is a phantom PC in the Celadon Hotel
When you walk into the Celadon hotel, make your way over to the right wall, then move one space closer to the counter & press 'A' & you can use it as if it were in a Pokemon center.
Holding Up+B on the D-Pad as you throw a Pokeball will hold it tighter and help you catch easier. It will increase a Pokeball to the next level, Pokeball to GreatBall to Ultraball etc. This trick does increase a Pokeball to Greatball to Ultraball, but it does NOT make an Ultraball into a Master ball.
Talk to the Sleeping [Old] man in Viridian City, tell him you are not busy and he will show you how to catch a Pokemon. Then surf down the half coast and half water area and hope you see Missingno. Don't battle it, just run away, battle it can mess up your game. You will now have over 125 of your sixth item.
Get Togepi
Beat the Elite Four 10 times without stopping to recharge at a PkMn center. After the tenth time there should be a Togepi in your PC otherwise go to Professor Oak's office and he'll give you it.
Get Mew
After beating Misty go to Bill's house but when he asks for help say no. Trade with someone for a pokemon with cut. Then beat everything except Victory Road. Go to Bill's house, say yes when he asks for help and he'll give you a Mew!
Make any Pokeball act like a Master Ball
When you throw the pokeball press up+B. Make sure the ball is in the air before pressing up+B.
Fight Safari Zone Pokemon at the Seafoam Islands
Go to the zone in the Safari Zone where the pokemon you want to catch in the Seafoam Islands. Walk around until you time runs out. Then go to the place where you surf to find MissingNo. Surf on that coast for a while and you'll run into Pokemon from the Safari Zone! I caught Tauros and Kangashkan that way! This works if you go to the place where the Pokemon can be found in other places too.
To Catch Pikablu in any Version
NEW Updated CODE! Follow these Simple steps to catch him!
1.First you must catch all 150 Pokemon NOT I repeat NOT using GameShark.
2. Then you also must have Seventeen of your Pokemon at Level 100.
3. Then when all of these tasks are complete, go to the guy in Pewter City who asks you if you have been to the Museum yet. Say NO so he takes you to the door.
4. Then go into the museum and go upstairs and talk to the Lady who says "I want my daddy to catch me a Pikachu!"
5. After you talk to her, immediatly come out of the door and once you come out of the door do not take any steps forward. left, or right. Immediatly use fly and go to Celedon City.
6. Go to the Safari zone and catch a Tuaros. Leave room in your pokemon slots. So only bring 5 when you go to catch him. Then put tuaros in your 1st slot. (Probably not part of code but try it anyway.)
7. Go into the Game Corner and talk to the Lady that says "Go Next Door to the Coin Exchange Corner to use your coins to get great Prizes!"
8. But this time she will say, "Hey? You have all the badges? WOW! Well then since you were nice enough to talk to me, I will give you this Pokemon I found stranded behind then Pokemon Museum, he is so strong I can not control him.But since you have all the badges, YOU TAKE HIM!
9. It will say, "You got ???????" Then when you try to use it it will just be like if you were pressing cancel and it will exit every time you click on it. Then go to Proffesor Oak and he will say the same thing he says when you give him Oaks Parcel, it will still say "YOU DELIVERED OAKS PARCEL!"
10. Then when you go into your pokemon line and it will replace the Pokemon in your first slot. So put a spearow or something in first. It will still be called ????? so go to the Nickname guy and change it to Pikablu. It has a ElectricWave, Psyshock, and Electrode... Dont ask me why its Electrode but its an awesome move.
11. It is a Level 999 and Pikablu will, Yes it will appear in your Pokedex!
After 150 it will say 154 and then you look at the Pokedex Info and it will look like this...

when you get 60,000 more experience points after catching it, it learns sonicboom
when you gain around 60,000 more experience points it kills any pokemon in one hit and it never misses!

Cloning A Pokemon
To begin, you must have two Gameboys linked. Gameboy A has the Pokemon to be cloned, and Gameboy B will have the Pokemon to be erased because they will get the cloned Pokemon (a weak Pokemon like Magikarp will do. They're easy to catch and worthless unless evolved). Gameboy A will be the first to enter the Cable Club, and the first to trade or this code will not work. Gameboy A will trade the good Pokemon, and Gameboy B will trade the bad one. After Gameboy A gets the bad Pokemon the screen will say "waiting". Gameboy A will turn off the Gameboy the second "waiting" clears off the screen. Then Gameboy B's screen will say "trade complete". The screen won't clear, so you'll have to turn the Gameboy off. Then, restart the game and you'll have a cloned Pokemon! (This code works well in the case of Eevee. Clone four of them and get one of each stone. Evolve three of them and keep the last one as Eevee. He learns some pretty good moves just as himself.)
Link Cable Tips!
1. Listen carefully= I have memorized each pokemon's cry by heart! Just
follow these instructions and you'll have a better chance of winning (note:
these tips are for game link cable battles).
2. Turn the sound of YOUR gameboy OFF. That way, you can listen to your
opponent's pokemon (this lets you know when your opponent switches a
pokemon, if your opponent switches, you will hear the new pokemon's cry).
Also, I said that you may want to know each pokemon's cry by heart because
that's what lets me identify my opponent's pokemon.
3.look at your opponent's pokemon before the fight, this allows you think
ahead and look at a pokemon in your team that can take out several of your
opponent's pokemon (I am excellent at doing this, just ask those people who
send me their teams, the pokemon that causes the most trouble is jolteon and
that's why I use him in my team!)
4.Send a pokemon that can recover it's lost hp (actually, choose this
pokemon as your first pokemon). Also, try this with hypno or chansey, gengar
might work, just please NEVER start with alakazam as he is likely to get KOed by strong normal moves.
I have discovered that when you throw a pokeball when it says Ash threw a pokeball and the pokemon is inside hold B from then until the ball wobbles the 2nd time and it is an almost sure fire way to catch it.
Celadon Slot Tip
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Master Ball Code
First go into battle,and throw a poke ball, great ball, or ultra ball. as soon as the ball leaves your hand, press and hold B and up. then as the ball snaps shut press and hold A while still holding B and up.

Capturing Hard-To-Catch Pokemon
Yes, this trick does work. It does, however, take a few tries to get it right. Anyway, to catch Pok?n with full life with a Pok?ll (or Greatball or Ultra Ball), all you do is right when your character throws the ball, you need to press and hold UP and B. Hold it until the Pok?n is fully caught. This trick might take a few tries to get the timing right, but it pays off. I caught: Dodrio, Hypno, Kadabra, Ditto, Raticate, and others at full life just by using a Pok?ll with this trick. Note: Safari Balls will NOT work with this trick.
Duplicate Any Pokemon
1.Go to the guy who shows you how to catch Pok?n, and he will ask you if you are in a hurry, say yes, and then talk to him again and say no.
2.Fly to cinnabar and surf up and down the east coast.
3.Pokemon will appear like Lv.156 muk and all sorts of stuff, including Missingno. and 'M (Mysterio).
4.After a Lv.0 'M apears catch it once and it will not go away so catch it again, and then it will say you caught a Ditto.
5.Go to your box and release the 'M and then withdraw Ditto, Ditto will be whatever Pok?n you had in the 4th position of your group.
